snesology:

After many hours of hard work, I managed to completely rip and build an approximation of the Final Fantasy 6 (3 US) sound engine. It’s still somewhat beta as it’s not yet in a completely user friendly state, I also haven’t finished the percussion yet, however it is fully functional. Much thanks to Katie Kinkel a.k.a. Monobrow for help with identifying the instruments. She will be contributing some FF6 tracks of her own in the near future. So to test the waters, I put together this little pastoral tune.

Katie Kinkel AKA Monobrow did Green Ghost, the first track on the most recent Homestuck album (Universe B), which ruled… so that is awesome news!
