wow… yeah, the opening parts are VERY similar!!! i haven’t listened to that song in like 3 years so… it’s certainly not recent or intentional. :P

hmmm, should I change the melody? I can’t think of a good replacement off the top of my head and the instrumentation + the rest of the song are different. But I can’t stand the feeling of being unoriginal…

  5. carboat said: I’d like to think there’s a difference in being “too similar in melody” and scraping surfaces of working as a homage which a lot of Homestuck elements already do. You can easily stick with it, and it isn’t the first time the two series resonate.
