Some piano improvisation.
I asked Twitter for 1 to 2 word improvisation ideas. I got a bunch and could only do 3 in the 20 minutes before my mom told me to stop. My ideas are fine I think… but I’m really not technically very good at piano… and I always forget EXACTLY what I was playing at the beginning of the song so the structure might be kind of random… and I get very nervous when I’m being recorded. Plus I’m recording off of my brother’s Macbook’s built in microphone (which does some weird shitty things with volume) while my parents are eating dinner and doing stuff like running the sink.
But I really think there are some cool ideas in here even if I make some mistakes and all, maybe stuff that would sound great if it was polished/honed in and written down. So hopefully you like it anyway, and I’ll do it again very soon!!! I’ll tweet it up @fwugradiation.
