Livestreaming UNDERTALE in like 10 minutes:

Do you have a mac and can’t play GAMES? Do you just wanna watch me play GAMES? Get in here! I’m going to be playing Toby’s GAME demo UNDERTALE… and I’m going to be doing more than one run-through to show all of the nuances and secrets!

If you don’t want to wait for the mac version or would rather watch someone cooler than you play my game then here is your opportunity

Hihi!! These are some title/intro cards I made for the game!! (5-colors minus the last one)

Undertale is a small, heartwarming little rpg made by fwugradiation!!

Some super fun aspects of this game are:

charming characters

lots of little secrets

many alternate endings/paths (including a pretty frightening one..)

an interesting top-down-shooter(without the shooting)-like battle system

I helped with the tiling that appears later on in the demo, as well as some of the animations and some of the overworld sprites!! I also did a few arts that are still lying around in the manual and as I said earlier the intro sequence artwork/spritework.

It was a ton of fun to help out with this project, and I’m super looking forward to keep going with it!! I hope you all enjoy!!

A long time ago, two races lived peacefully on the Earth’s surface, HUMANS and MONSTERS.

One day, a terrible war broke out between the two creeds. After a long battle, the HUMANS were victorious. They forced the MONSTERS into a mountain cavern and sealed the entrance with a magic spell.

Many years have passed since then…

4/20 - WEEDPOCALYPSE ROLEPLAY

Today some friends and I played a role-playing game called Fiasco.

This the result, revised for coherency and to be far less offensive.

Starring:

Kandi as IPGD
Tiffany as Holly
Spice as Charlie
Tube-Pac as Toby
Cynthia as Chris

Characters:

KANDI RING - A 16-year-old popstar. Half of the ultra-popular teenage pop-duo KANDI AND SPICE. Tricked into a bad contract by TUBE-PAC, she spends most of her time chained up to the wall of her dressing room, released only to perform. She was originally a twin-pop duo along with her identical twin, TIFFANY RING, but because TIFFANY can’t sing or dance very well, TIFFANY was replaced by SPICE RING by the TUBE-PAC. KANDI hates SPICE RING for posing as her sister. Her primary desire is quit being a popstar and live a normal life with Tiffany.

TIFFANY RING - 16-year-old ex-popstar. After being replaced by SPICE RING, she has to return to complete her schooling. Unfortunately, this means Tiffany needs to continue school from where she left off - the 2nd Grade. She runs a tumblr blog where she reblogs pictures of miniskirts and complains unendingly about her life. She has zero followers. Her wish is to be loved. Fame and popularity seem like the easiest way to do that.

SPICE RING - An androgynous, expressionless sociopath who has had plastic surgery to re-attain the face of a 16-year-old girl. They have legally changed their name to “Spice Ring” after becoming part of KANDI and SPICE. Has been a part of many teenage pop-duos in the past under different names. They were last known as “Murder,” from the hit pop duo “Skully and Murder.” Spice’s true intentions are unknown.

TUBE-PAC - A humanoid covered in hairy green weed crystals floating inside of a cyberpunk tube machine. Tube-Pac is an accomplished rapper and frequently drops explicit rap lyrics over the mid-section of pop songs. Currently touring with Kandi and Spice. His goal is for his entire body to become pure weed, and to one day be consumed by someone. He only smokes weed using a bong fashioned from a skull of a 13-year-old girl. His supplier is Spice Ring, which is probably the real reason Tube-Pac replaced Tiffany.

CYNTHIA - Originally Cynthia Skully of the hit pop duo Skully and Murder. One day, she was mysteriously murdered. Now she is the skull on the body of a skeleton in an elementary school classroom, taken out by Spice every 2 hours so Tube-Pac can use her as a bong. Her soul still haunts the skull, allowing her to communicate with the living world. In life, Cynthia and Tube-Pac were lovers. Now, with no idea of her past life, her main goal is to gather more skulls like herself so she won’t be alone.

SCENE 1:

TIFFANY lounges around after school in the elementary school science classroom, lamenting her lack of friends. Suddenly, she hears a dank voice emanating from the corner of the room. “Heyyyy Tiffany….” It seems that the skull on the skeleton is talking to her! The skull tells Tiffany that the best way to make friends is to gather skulls of young girls and bring them back to the classroom. Tiffany, elated that anyone is talking to her at all, tells Cynthia that she’ll definitely do it. In the midst of this conversation, Spice Ring shows up and takes the skull away, ignoring Tiffany entirely. Tiffany goes home to blog that she now identifies as skullkin, and will soon be undergoing an operation to become a skull. SPICE inserts the skull-bong into TUBE-PAC’s skull-bong-shaped indentation and lights it up. Cynthia and Tube-Pac both get super high.

SCENE 2:

It’s almost performance time for KANDI and SPICE. SPICE goes to KANDI’s dressing room to unchain her from the wall. KANDI tries to escape but SPICE is too powerful. SPICE straps KANDI to one of the automated cyberpunk makeup chairs, which looks kind of like a dentist’s chair. KANDI’s tears mix with the makeup, which gives her the look she’s known for.

KANDI and SPICE go onstage. KANDI screams into the microphone for help, but her audio setup autotunes everything she says. The crowd of 12 year old girls goes crazy, interpreting lyrics like “Help me they keep me chained in the dressing room” as a metaphor for the difficulty of fame and “They’ll kill me if I try to run away” to parents trying to keep them down. SPICE does backup dancing.

TUBE-PAC emerges from the center of the stage before it’s even his time to rap, but he’s too high to care. He starts dropping beats and rolls into the audience to try and crowdsurf, but ends up crushing the front row with his cylindrical, plexiglass body. The crowd goes wild.

SCENE 3:

After the show, TIFFANY sneaks in to find her sister. TUBE-PAC sees Tiffany and comments “Damn Kandi, what the heck happened to you???” Tiffany decides the only way to be cool and popular is to smoke weed, so she asks Tube-Pac to teach her how to smoke. He tells her to insert the weed into her tube, and demonstrates. Tiffany is confused. Tube-Pac repeats his instructions several times. Tiffany still doesn’t understand. Tube-Pac gives up and spews weed smoke all over her. There’s a magical girl transformation sequence, but Tiffany doesn’t become anything but disheveled and high.

Eventually Tiffany stumbles into Kandi’s dressing room, where she finds her sister crying. Tiffany splays herself out on one of the couches in the room and launches into a monologue about how lucky her sister is that she gets all the attention and hit singles and doesn’t have to go to elementary school. Tiffany says how she wishes she could switch places with her. Kandi tries to tell her sister that her situation is borderline slavery, but Tiffany doesn’t listen. In the end Kandi decides that Tiffany SHOULD replace her, and runs away.

Tiffany finds a bag of weed in the room and smokes it to become even more popular and cool. Spice comes into the room after returning the skull to the elementary school classroom. Spice realizes Tiffany has smoked all of Tube-Pac’s weed, and decides to kill Tiffany and take her skull. Spice is ready to ambush Tiffany and kill her when Kandi returns, having decided that she could never subject her sister to the terrors that she has undergone. Tiffany realizes she forgot about Cynthia and tells Kandi that they should go to the Elementary school and become skulls. Kandi has no idea what Tiffany is talking about, but obliges. Spice follows them in the shadows.

SCENE 4:

Tube-Pac, irritated that he doesn’t have his weed, follows Cynthia’s psychic messages to meet at the elementary school. Tube-Pac finds Cynthia and decides to try and light the skull-bong up without Spice’s help. He extends his flamethrower attachment and blasts fire onto the entirety of the skeleton. At this point, something magical happens. Cynthia’s body has become so filled with weed-residue after being used so many times, that Cynthia’s soul and the weed ignite together, giving Cynthia a body in the corporeal realm: A flaming, magical skeleton. Her head has a giant flaming weed-leaf aura around it.

Cynthia remembers who she is and calls out to Tube-Pac. Tube-Pac recognizes her voice and realizes that he was smoking from Cynthia’s skull the whole time. He has never felt closer to her in his entire life. He then asks her who killed him. She tells him “It was Murder” and he responds “I know it was murder, who did it?” Cynthia responds “murder!” They banter a bit longer but then forget what they were talking about. The intensity of the weed-fumes coming off of Cynthia’s flaming skull is making everything hazy.

Kandi and Tiffany arrive in the classroom. Kandi sees a flaming skeleton and tries to put out the flame by draping it with an American flag, but the American flag just catches fire and falls to the floor. Tube-Pac makes a vine of this and tweets it because he thinks it’s hilarious, smearing Kandi’s reputation. Meanwhile, Tiffany is lying on the ground continuing to smoke weed. Tube-Pac also vines this, and because Tiffany looks like Kandi, her reputation is smeared further. He then vines both Kandi and Tiffany at the same time. Mass confusion ensues. Tube-Pac tweets that “the party is here in the elementary school. #420” All of the twelve-year-old-girls head towards the school.

The fire begins to spread. Spice, who has been hiding in the shadows, begins to set all of the surrounding classrooms on fire. Cynthia, now embued with magical powers, uses weed-lightning to set random beakers of chemicals on fire like candles for her romantic reunion with Tube-Pac. The chemicals leak into the air and Tube-Pac absorbs them into his tubes, causing his weed-body to slowly dissolve into his tube liquid. It gives him the craziest high ever. Tube-Pac gets everybody onto the roof and starts rapping the most inspired verses known to mankind.

The 12-year-olds begin to arrive, smashing down the doors of the school. Spice throws more and more weed onto the fire, and begins to add every drug imaginable to the mix. A giant, mile-long cloud of weed and PCP fumes emanate from the school, getting everybody really chill, but really violent. News helicopters caught in the fumes spiral to the ground and explode. The SWAT team arrives but can’t stop themselves from dancing to the music, even as twelve-year olds claw relentlessly at them. A chaotic weed hurricane whirls around the school.

Spice, completely unaffected by any of the fumes, comes onto the roof carrying the skulls of ten young girls and places them in a circle. Spice draws a double pentagram between them in blood and starts chanting eldritch incantations. Cynthia is drawn by the incantations to the middle of the pentagram and begins conducting all of the ambient weed energy. Spice then uses two giant syringes to drain Tube-Pacs now completely liquid body (which is still rapping, but now kind of sounds like dubstep) and injects him into Tiffany and Kandi. This was Spice’s plan - to give Tube-Pac weed until he became the purest concentrate of THC beyond human comprehension.

A portal forms around Cynthia’s body and rips open the fabric of space itself. Out of the portal emerges WEED LORD, GOD OF WEED. WEED LORD draws the mortal souls of all the people inside the school into a giant blunt and smokes it. Spice offers the two girls to Weed Lord as a sacrifice, and asks Weed Lord if Spice has done well enough to ascend to the Weed Realm. WEED LORD shakes his head at Spice and says “Dude, you tried way too hard. Loosen up. You can’t come to the Weed Realm if you aren’t chill.”

WEED LORD looks upon the two girls, who are glowing green with weed energy. “You two sisters,” WEED LORD begins.

“Do you, like, have a tumblr?” Tiffany interrupts.

WEED LORD pushes Tiffany aside and looks at Kandi.

“GIRL,” WEED LORD continues, “Your weed energy is otherworldly. You have even more power than I. It is time for me to, like, reincarnate into the earthly realm to make humankind remember what true chillness is. Here… take my power… you will be the NEW WEED LORD!!”

WEED LORD turns into a giant cloud of smoke and flies into KANDI’s body, which begins to levitate and glow with the power of 1,000,000 blunts. She drops a verse so ill, it instantly appears on the top 100 singles with no explanation.

It was good.

AFTERMATH.

KANDI - With her newfound powers, KANDI becomes the most popular musician in the world, uniting people with her superb rapping abilities and her utter chillness.

SPICE - After being rejected by WEED LORD, Spice loses their life purpose and is never heard from again.

TUBE-PAC - The slimy dregs of TUBE-PAC at the bottom of the tube felt left out and started a tumblr, where they met many other slimy dregs like themselves.

TIFFANY - Tiffany returned to elementary school, having gotten virtually nothing out of this entire ordeal. One day she finds she finally has a single follower on tumblr - it’s the slimy dregs of Tube-Pac! Checking its blog, she finds that it not only reads Homestuck, but it ships JohnKat. She sighs and blocks it.

CYNTHIA - Cynthia returns to being a regular skull, put in a museum somewhere. She can’t remember anything anymore, mostly because being a conduit for incredible weed energy has left her brain permanently fried. 400 years in the future, somebody does graffiti of a flaming weed skeleton on the side of a building. This is her greatest legacy - the legend of WEED LORD.
